Through my travels around India I couldn't help but be inspired. There was colour and vibrancy amongst all the chaos everywhere I looked. My senses were completely overwhelmed and at times I simply didn't know where to look or what to do next. I've been working in fashion for over 15 years now and it has always been a dream of mine to start my own business, India reignited that flame. Jewellery has always been a passion of mine and everywhere I travelled, Paris, New York, London, Bali and India I've come back with that special piece, that piece of jewellery that I just cannot live without that reminds me of where I've been. MonLee draws on my connection to India through family and my husband but also that inspiration I find when I am there. My first collection The Jewel in the Crown is inspired by the Maharajah's and Maharani's of Old India.
